The EES Library is open from 8:00am to 3:00pm.
Our library operates on a flexible schedule. Meaning classroom teachers can bring their class when it is most convenient and relevant for the students’ learning. During this time they may check-in and out books, participate in a library/technology lesson co-taught by their teacher and Mrs. Pollock, or engage in makerspaces.
Second graders have time throughout the day to come to the library and exchange their books. They are allowed to check out two books at a time and keep those books for up two weeks.
First Graders check out two books at a time as well and begin coming to the library on their own the second six weeks of school.
Kindergarteners have a scheduled time to come to the library the first semester. After that their teachers will schedule a time that is most appropriate for their learning. They begin checking out books in the second six weeks. They check out one book at a time.
